Best Way to celebrate New Year- Protest!

Well done the protesters in Nantes who called on the UN to stop the march of time and declare January 1st, 2006. Having realised they had failed, they then refocused on the real enemy- the inevitability of 2008. Thanks to the Tin Drummer for alerting me to this wonderful news.

Yes, let's hold back globalization and the forces of free markets. Sounds French...

No Gaius it actually is a protest against the New Year- I was quipping about Globalisation.

City Un Slicker I'm not sure where a protest for the future is to be found- maybe we need a protest against time being so slow!

James and Mussein I agree with you it made my day when I posted it.

I was being facetious. As for Globalisation, you may be quipping but I am not sure the French are. The French populace does seem to resent the march of capitalism.
