A Pigmy Leaf Chameleon

I was just watching Life in Cold Blood the latest David Attenborough series to get to sleep and saw this: its a pigmy leaf chameleon and is the smallest reptile in the world. Attenborough has been searching for it for the last fifty years.

Clearly still wide awake - try "The Life of Birds": it always did it for me.

Baby chameleons in captivity tend to rock backwards and forwards on their twigs - in nature this mimics the movement of the wind and makes them less conspicuous.
After a while, they seem to think "oh, what the hell" and stop doing it.

Attenborough is an absolute legend and TV will never be same once he finally leaves.

If ever a guy has traveled the world over it is Richard and from his travels he has brought us great pleasures with his wildlife expeditions.
