
I was just watching Life in Cold Blood the latest David Attenborough series to get to sleep and saw this: its a pigmy leaf chameleon and is the smallest reptile in the world. Attenborough has been searching for it for the last fifty years.

Clearly still wide awake - try "The Life of Birds": it always did it for me.
Baby chameleons in captivity tend to rock backwards and forwards on their twigs - in nature this mimics the movement of the wind and makes them less conspicuous.
After a while, they seem to think "oh, what the hell" and stop doing it.
It was an amazing series. I'd not heard of that chameleon before seeing the prog
Attenborough is an absolute legend and TV will never be same once he finally leaves.
If ever a guy has traveled the world over it is Richard and from his travels he has brought us great pleasures with his wildlife expeditions.
Talk about a needle in a haystack.
