Dr Gracchi

I just thought I'd say that I've just passed my PhD viva- and got a doctorate from Cambridge University (bar a couple of typos that noone who reads this blog would be surprised to hear about)- anyway I'm meeting some guys up in Cambridge this evening but will be also meeting various people in the Cheshire Cheese on Saturday (its off Fleet Street) for a celebratory drinks- if anyone fancies coming along to drink the odd pint and enjoy life- then you are welcome!

Many congratulations. Funnily enough I work very close to the Cheshire Cheese so am found in that region during the week - but it does mean I avoid the area like the plague on weekends! (Though small children preclude Saturday boozing in any event).

Congrats again

Umpire.

Congratulations Dr G! Now let's have some Westminster Wisdom to balance your excellent film essays.

Congratulations! What a wonderful achievement. And "Dr. Gracchi" has a nice ring to it. ;)

Sadly there is a small pond in the way, otherwise I'd join you on Saturday...

Cheers- come on Umpire make an exception tommorrow, Ruthie whenever you are in the UK, I want to be told and I will be there holding a cup of tea and waiting to meet Little C! Matt thanks, James, John, Ashok and Rosiphilee thanks as well. Its been a long journey- John I know there hasn't been much Westminster stuff, pressure of work means I don't actually get as much time for politics any more so its mostly history and film but I hope that's ok!

Congrats again, Dr. G.!
As I could unfortunately not join the 'Cheshire Cheese' yesterday evening, I had a piece of Cheshire, and raised a pint of plain which happened to be my only man, on your bright future. :)
